Wildebeest Migration Safari (9 Days, 8 Nights)

Wildlife in KenyaDay 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and be met by one of our Adventure Trails’ driver/guide. You may have a city tour and head to Stanley Hotel where you will have your dinner and overnight. 

Day 2: Nairobi to Lake Manyara
After breakfast at the Hotel in Nairobi, you will be transferred to the Wilson Airport in time to board your scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro Airport. Upon arrival you will transfer by scheduled flight to Lake Manyara. Have lunch at the Lake Mayara Serena Lodge and later proceed for a game drive. You will see variety of birdlife such as bee-eaters, eagles, flamingos, cranes, snipes, waterfowls. Abundant game life will be seen including Elephants, hippos, baboons, buffalo, giraffe and others. Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge

Day 3: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
Have breakfast and proceed to Ngorongoro highlands by road transport. Continue to climb the exterior of the crater reaching its edge and have a first sight of what has often been referred to as the ‘Eighth wonder of the world’. You will have lunch at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge, which is perched on the jagged rim of the crater and after visit the Masai Boma. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge

Day 4: Game drive
After breakfast, move to the floor of the crater for a full-day game viewing. You will see different species of wildlife such as gazelle, elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, rhino, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra and numerous hippos. Eagles, cranes, storks and hundred of other birds also inhabit this spectacular area. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Crater Lodge

Day 5: Transfer to Serengeti National Park   
After breakfast drive to Olduvai Gorge in Serengeti National Park. The park is flourishing with magnificent wildlife. An estimated 3 million large animals roam the plains. After lunch at Serengeti Serena Lodge proceed for afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge

Day 6-8: Game drives
For three days, you will have a morning and afternoon game drives at Serengeti known as one the best wildlife sanctuary in the world and for the migration of animals. Every October and November, more than a million wildebeest and zebras travel south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short tropical rains, and then journey west and north after the long rains in April to June. The park is inhabited by more than 3 million mammals; including lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, buffalo, gazelles, antelope, giraffe, hyena, and all of the modest animals. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge  

Day 9: Departure
Before your transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight, linger over a long breakfast at Lodge or have an optional activity of a splash out on a dawn hot air balloon ride.  You will arrive in Arusha in time for lunch at Arusha Coffee Lodge. Have relaxation and later be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for a departure flight back home.
